Colla — Organize the things your team is working on into a single graph

Quick Start Guide

1

Create or Join an Organization

All nodes and members belong to an organization. After signing up you can create your own organization, or join an existing one via an invitation link.

2

Create Your First Node

Turn any "thing" your team is working on into a node: a project, a hire, a decision, a process, a customer — anything works. Each node has a title, body, custom fields, attachments, and its own chat thread.

3

Connect Nodes with Relations

Three relation types: contains (a child thing belongs to a parent thing), causes (one thing leads to another, directional), related (loose connection). The AI will also proactively suggest relations for your review before they enter the graph.

4

Invite Members and Collaborate

Invite colleagues to your organization and set their roles (owner / admin / member) and node visibility. Within each node you can chat, @mention, upload files, and start a voice/video call with one tap for important matters.

FAQ

What do "Node" and "Edge" mean?
A node is a "dot" in the graph, representing a specific thing, a person, or a file. An edge is a "line" between two nodes, representing dependency, causality, or grouping. The core idea of Colla: instead of an endless to-do list, organize your work into a graph where context is visible at a glance.
Only three relation types — contains / causes / related — is that enough?
It's deliberate. The fewer the semantics, the easier the team aligns on what each one means. Contains expresses hierarchy (process → sub-thing), causes expresses driving force (A leads to B), related expresses general relevance. These three cover ~95% of real-world work scenarios while avoiding the cognitive overhead of over-modeling.
What are AI suggestions? Will the AI modify my graph automatically?
No, it won't. Colla's built-in AI extracts potential new nodes or new relations from documents, images, or existing nodes you've selected, and places them in a review queue as "suggestions". You accept or reject them one by one. The AI never modifies the graph without your approval.
How do I invite team members?
Go to "Organization Settings" and click "Invite Members". Enter their phone number or email to generate an invitation link. Once they sign up or log in via the link, they're added to your organization. You can assign a role to each member (owner / admin / member), and set visibility on each node individually.
How is data security ensured?
We use industry-standard encryption. All data is transmitted over HTTPS / TLS and stored on cloud servers within mainland China with regular backups. When invoking Zhipu AI, we do not send your password, phone number, device ID, or other sensitive information, and your data is not used to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Which platforms are supported?
Colla offers a Web app (any browser at www.colla.work), an iOS app, and an Android app. All clients share the same data; node updates, chat messages, and AI suggestions sync across all clients in real time.
